Bedrooms

As I'm going through a few fabrics for a client's bedroom, I wanted to share a few bedroom photos I've recently come across that have become instant favorites.

Enjoy!

Bringing the Patio In

With Spring upon us and Summer fast approaching, I am inspired by rooms that are fresh and bright and infused with natural light.  The thing I love about this season is brightening up your space with a little bit of the outdoors by bringing in pieces that could easily live on your patio.  Bamboo, wicker and woven furniture and accessories makes any space feel like your at the coast.  The feel is much lighter in scale, cozy, fun and inviting.

Current Obsessions

Well, Hello!!  Its been a little while since I was last here.  To say that I have been busy would be an understatement but it is true!  With work and family events and friends to hang out with life has been full...in a good way!

Catching up is always tough and so much has happened in the last few months.  A short recap: I took a little trip to Santa Fe, we had a big Easter celebration with a little beach time thrown in, wedding dress shopping with one of my great friends (for her), crawfish boils, Spazmatics, SXSW Music Festival here in Austin (the hubs played a few shows with a new band), Stella & Dot launched their amazing Spring/Summer collection, lots of furniture deliveries, selections and I have added a few more clients to the roster, of which I am very excited.  I will share photos as we make progress on these projects.

I thought I would start my come-back with my some of my current obsessions.

Enjoy!

Just because...

Here are of a few photos I've been obsessing over lately, why?....just because they are amazing!  And super girly.  I appreciate my husband for letting me have a lot of pink in our home.  He must really love me. Lol!  Enjoy your thursday!

Covered Patio

I came across this outdoor space via House of Turquoise and I am in L.O.V.E.....Love!

I love a house that gives you an extra entertaining space where you can actually design it.  The roof over that patio lets you have upholstery, pillows and good furniture, and you don't have to worry about it getting ruined with the weather.  What a lovely area for lounging, chatting and lots of coffee drinking...or wine drinking, depending on your mood...or time of day!

Enjoy!

A Day at Crabapple

Its rare that a work day can take you off to a different world and a very unique surrounding.  I had the opportunity to style a shoot with several other contributors.  The goal was to get some great photos and footage of what we do best in order for us all to use to market and promote our businesses.  I love how this collaboration came together.

We all met at Crabapple Ranch in Fredericksburg, TX.  Fredericksburg is a sweet quaint little town with tons of shops and loads of personality.  With its wineries, antique shops and delicious restaurants and bakeries, it is one of the most romantic and relaxing places to spend your weekends.  If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend it.

Crabapple Ranch was where we set the scene for our outdoor vintage tea party theme.  The china and furniture were so gorgeous and the models were amazing.  The girls were done up with 50's inspired hair and makeup and they donned Stella & Dot jewels.

I had a blast styling the jewels as well as some of our sets.  This group of professionals were a joy to work with and I hope we get to do it again soon!

Below are some of my favorite photos of the day and the beautiful video done by my lovely better half.  I hope you enjoy!
