In the Deep Blue

What is it about a blue and white room that makes it so fresh, crisp and classic?  Its that easy Ralph Lauren look where its well thought out and planned but effortless at the same time.  I've blogged about this before so you can easily see that it has become one of my all time favorite classic color schemes.

Boho Beautiful

I like to think that my personal style spans all types, that I am somewhat of a chameleon of sorts.  I find comfort in the traditional, glamour in the modern and giddiness with everything in between.  Although, lately I have come to discover that I may be more of the free spirit deep down.

Someone recently asked me, "How bohemian are you?" when I said I could see myself in Santa Fe - my answer was 85%.  I find myself more and more drawn to the natural, the eclectic and the story.  The culture behind everything.  Maybe its because I'm getting older or maybe its just because boho is beautiful!

Bedrooms

As I'm going through a few fabrics for a client's bedroom, I wanted to share a few bedroom photos I've recently come across that have become instant favorites.

Enjoy!

Bringing the Patio In

With Spring upon us and Summer fast approaching, I am inspired by rooms that are fresh and bright and infused with natural light.  The thing I love about this season is brightening up your space with a little bit of the outdoors by bringing in pieces that could easily live on your patio.  Bamboo, wicker and woven furniture and accessories makes any space feel like your at the coast.  The feel is much lighter in scale, cozy, fun and inviting.

Current Obsessions

Well, Hello!!  Its been a little while since I was last here.  To say that I have been busy would be an understatement but it is true!  With work and family events and friends to hang out with life has been full...in a good way!

Catching up is always tough and so much has happened in the last few months.  A short recap: I took a little trip to Santa Fe, we had a big Easter celebration with a little beach time thrown in, wedding dress shopping with one of my great friends (for her), crawfish boils, Spazmatics, SXSW Music Festival here in Austin (the hubs played a few shows with a new band), Stella & Dot launched their amazing Spring/Summer collection, lots of furniture deliveries, selections and I have added a few more clients to the roster, of which I am very excited.  I will share photos as we make progress on these projects.

I thought I would start my come-back with my some of my current obsessions.

Enjoy!
