Spring Break in New Mexico

Hello all!!  I hope you have all been well.  I can't believe I have been a stranger for so long, I apologize.

I wanted to share photos from my recent visit to Ruidoso, Taos, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.  My parents go every year with some very close family friends and its been about 5 years since my last visit.  This year we were so excited to join them and my sister came too.  I had a blast getting to spend so much time with them.  Santa Fe was definitely my favorite part.  I fell in love with the architecture, art and jewelry.  What an inspiring place to be - its like a little world all its own.  I can understand how these artists are so moved by their surroundings.  My sister, mom and I almost cleaned them out of jewelry!  Here are a few photos I took.  Enjoy!

Pink Perfection

I think on some level, every girl loves pink!  Whether its bright and bold or soft and feminine, it can make a room feel sophisticated, glam and a bit girly - in a good way!  I think the trick to making pink look a little more elegant is to bring in some darker neutrals and natural elements like the seisal rug.  Below is one for my favorite pink Living Rooms designed by Armonia Decors.  I just love the tufted club chairs.

If you haven't discovered Atlanta Homes Magazine, I would suggest heading to their site asap.  They cover some fabulous homes and talented designers.  Featured on their site are photos of their latest Show House and it is incredible.  Here are a few of my favorite rooms.

Pattern Love

Hello!!  I hope you are all doing well.  Things have a bit hectic in my world as of late but I am here and I wanted to share on of my favorite inspiration photos.  I was given a loveseat that belonged to my Grandmother.  I feel so lucky to have it and I want to give it an update.  I think since it is a smaller size, a pattern is perfect especially with a more neutral surrounding.  Love it!!

Objects of my Affection

Hello!  I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend.  The weather has taken another unpredictable turn and it is sunny, breezy and gorgeous!  

Since this month is about love, I thought I would share a few things I am in love with at the moment.  There are some things you see and you just now what a great relationship you can have together. For example, I have no doubt that bright yellow lamp and I would get along swimmingly!  In fact, I'll pair it with the wood table and it will be a match made in design heaven!

The Patterned Chair

I've never been afraid of pattern and color, in fact, I'm a big fan. But, I know that for some people pattern and color can be a bit of a scary commitment.  I'm here to offer some comfort when adding these elements to your room.  I like to put it on a chair.  Its a small dose that can make a big impact!  A chair in a bold pattern can be fun and friendly and a gorgeous burst of color!  Here are some of my favorite patterned chairs to inspire you.
